To start off our seaside theme in English and Topic, Angora and Alpine Classes enjoyed a brilliant day 'by the seaside' in our school playground and field. The children were able to dive into water, paddle with sharks, build sandcastles and play volleyball too. They all enjoyed a delicious ice-cream served from the Goat Lees Ice Cream Van as well! This exciting day will help to inspire our children in their writing and help them to describe the seas, oceans and coasts they come across in Topic work too! Thanks to all of our brilliant children and families for coming in dressed in their best beach gear, and to all of the Key Stage 1 staff for organising this brilliant day!
